Teron Gorefiend was the leader of the death knights created by Gul'dan during the Second War, and is now the fourth boss in Black Temple.
Abilities
- Doom Blossom: Summons Dark Clouds which strike random players for roughly 1500 shadow damage, more if player is affected by Crushing Shadows.
- Shadow of Death: Will target a random raid member every 30 seconds. At the end of the debuff the affected player enters a near death
state in which they are given control of a ghost for 1 minute. Note: See Shadowy Constructs.
- Crushing Shadows: Targets 5 random people in the raid. Shadow damage taken increased by 60% for 15 seconds.
- Incinerate: 2775-3225 initial damage, DoT 2500+/second, last for 3 seconds.
Shadowy Constructs:
- Spawns in groups of four at the body of the player affected by Shadow of Death. The ghost that is player controlled is also spawned here.
- Can only be damaged by a ghost.
- Spawns with high hate on players in raid and only aggroes the ghost if all other players are dead.
- Atrophy: Deals damage and weakens the target, decreasing melee, ranged, and spell casting speed by 5%. Stacks up to 10 times.
Ghost (player controlled):
- Spirit Strike: (Short range 638-862 damage, -10% damage dealt for 5 seconds): A powerful strike that weakens the target.
- Spirit Lance: (Long range 6175-6825 damage, -30% movement speed for 3 seconds, stacks up to 3 times): Fires a burst of spirit energy at a single target. Targets hit
by Spirit Lance will gradually regain mobility as the effect fades.
- Spirit Volley: (Short range AoE 9900-12100 damage): Fires a concentrated volley of spirit energy.
- Spirit Chains: (Short range AoE Shackle, deals 1900-2100 damage, lasts 5 Seconds): Shackles nearby targets in chains of spirit energy.
- Spirit Shield: (Player buff shield, absorbs 11400-12600 shadow damage, lasts 30 Seconds): Protects a friendly target with a barrier of spirit.
